All cosmetic products start out with an idea.  To convert this idea into reality comes down to creating a formulation and, whilst the basis of a formulation is much the same as a recipe, it is more than just mixing simply mixing ingredients.  A formulation involves the precise balancing of different ingredients using chemistry to create a new product that has unique properties.
